_{The cons my friends and I go to seem to be against us this year xD First Midlands was reduced to one day, and now this -

They've cancelled Collectormania Gmex in November and rescheduled it to summer 2009. This also means there's gonna be no Collectormania Gmex in March. Was kinda annoyed about it, but there's not much we can do really. Instead, we are thinking of going to go to Collectormania Midlands: [link]

From what I've heard on the forums, it was a good event last time so I'm hoping it's gonna be just as good this time too. The forums say the next Midlands event is 1st and 2nd of November, which is pretty good. I think we might go to it again in March if it's scheduled for then as well.

I don't think we're going to Collectormania Milton Keynes again though =/ Venue wasn't too nice last time (seriously, who thought up holding a con in the middle of a shopping centre?!), there was way too many people and we were kinda anxious about whether we'd actually get to meet John Barrowman or not last time. I think we ended up meeting him around 3 last time or something... We got there at like 9am. So anyway yeah. Although the party was pretty fun, I don't think it's worth making the trek down to Milton Keynes unless someone like David Tennant turns up (Although David Tennant will just be like the John Barrowman experience... two seconds with him then ushered away).

So yeah. Cosplays are gonna be Android 17 (Dragonball Z) for Tokyopop ReCon, Freya Crescent (Final Fantasy IX) for Midlands, but I'm not too sure on Collectormania Midlands yet. I'm gonna attempt to get Sirius Black done over the holidays so I might wear him if he's done by then.

So fed up of school now. Want holidays please.}

Gah, that really sucks for you, mate >.<
Maybe consider coming to London Film and Comic Con? I've heard mixed reviews on it, though. Some of my mates reckon it's fantastic, and others say it's not so awesome.

I didn't know it was cancelled until yesterday, that SUCKS. Now there's a huge gap in my con plans, curses! >.<

I'll see about going to the Midlands one though. I wants to see you guys again T_T

I would've loved to go to LFCC, but we're faced with the same problem as London Expo - We can't afford train or hotel unfortunately! From what I've seen in the past though, they're always had a good line-up of guests, so I'm gonna go there one year... Just not this time

Have a good time there yourself though!

Gah, I really hope we can all get to the Midlands one! We can't wait until Summer 2009 to see each other again - That's way too long! x_x;
